Kate Middleton wears Meghan Markle’s favoured designer in boho gown | Royal | News

Princess Kate has shared an update on her ongoing cancer battle in a beautifully filmed video, where she is seen alongside Prince William and their three children. Looking effortlessly elegant in a floaty white paisley dress by American designer Veronica Beard, a label also favoured by Meghan Markle in recent months.

During her four-day tour of Colombia in August, Meghan was spotted wearing a two-piece by Veronica Beard, which quickly sold out. Previously, the Duchess wore the same designer in 2018 during her visit to Tupou College in Nuku’alofa Tong.

As Kate typically opts for British brands, it’s intriguing to see her donning one of Meghan’s preferred designers, perhaps as a subtle nod to unity.

The Castella dress worn by Kate in the poignant video is currently out of stock, however, those keen to emulate the Princess’ style can shop some fantastic alternatives below.

Hurry to grab this boho-style alternative at Anthropology that’s currently retailing for £180. Or, if you’re after a slightly more bold and colourful version of Kate’s demure and sophisticated look, take a look at this Roman number that’s currently reduced to £42.

In the candid and heartfelt footage, Kate takes a moment to pay tribute “all those who are continuing their own cancer journey” saying: “I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand.”

In one shot, playful Kate jumps on hay-bales and plays cards with her children in Norfolk. In the video, she reveals how she’d come “face to face” with her own ‘vulnerabilities’.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she revealed. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”

“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”
